Sparc and Levidian team up to bring graphene-enhanced protective coatings to the Middle East

Sparc Technologies and Levidian Nanosystems have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop and commercialize Sparc’s ecosparc graphene coating additive in the Middle East. The agreement covers protective and industrial coatings in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, and follows Levidian’s supply of graphene to Sparc for testing in ecosparc-enhanced coatings.

Under the MoU, Sparc will develop ecosparc formulations using Levidian’s graphene and test them in its ISO-accredited laboratories. It will also work with coatings manufacturers and end users on qualification testing, field trials and product specification. Levidian will supply the graphene, provide technical support and open doors to major regional customers, including large infrastructure owners and national oil operators. The two companies will market the product jointly.
