US graphene startup Avadain has closed an oversubscribed $5 million crowdfunding round in just 37 days. The round is the company’s fourth successful crowdfunding campaign, bringing its total raised through crowdfunding to $15,847,259, with three of the four rounds oversubscribed.
Avadain develops graphene manufacturing technology and licenses its modular production process to chemical companies and advanced materials manufacturers, with the stated goal of building out nationwide production capacity. Avadain is one of only three companies to have raised the full $5 million permitted under US crowdfunding law in any 12-month period. The company previously raised $5 million in 2025 as well, a round that earned it a crowdfunding industry award for the strongest raise of that year.
