Frontier IP Group has announced that its portfolio company, 2D Photonics, has raised €25 million in a Series A funding round to advance the development of graphene photonics transceivers. 2D Photonics is closely related to CamGraPhIC – 2D Photonics is the parent company, with CamGraPhIC’s operations in both the UK and Italy operating under its umbrella.
This funding will enable the company to scale up production and establish a pilot manufacturing plant, positioning it at the forefront of next-generation optical technology.
